Thanksgiving Count Down

In honor of thanksgiving I have decided to post Every Day (fingers crossed) of some things I am truly thankful for.

I will start, because its fresh on my mind, that I am thankful for Friends. I went to church last week and a friend that probably needed my help, helped me by asking how I was doing? She asked so sincerely that I knew she meant it. A simple act of kindness proved her to be an example to me of kindness and friendship.

Another thing I absolutely love are the friends that have a positive attitude about life, even when life is hard! Its the women that are always smiling, always happy to help and seem to never see the grey in life, that are so exceptional to me. ( I would love to drop a few names here, but I would surely forget someone!)

Last week a group of my dearest friends come to visit, we talked and ate and just had a glorious time. I think one of the reasons friends are so special to me, is that I can feel the spirit of Christ radiate through them, making me want to be like them and to be a better person!

Yeah!!! You are back. What a great way to start the holiday season. My sister in law does 52 weeks of blessings on her blog and I love hearing what she is grateful for. I should be better and take up both of your advice. In these times we should look at life as the glass 1/2 full and not 1/2 empty. Friends and family are the best!!!
