No. Really, Help Yourself!

Today I found Claire and Elizabeth making themselves banana sandwiches (which is another word for a HUGE mess.) maybe next time I will keep my cool long enough to take a picture.
Why do kids feel like it's their duty to destroy a perfectly clean kitchen with smashed banana?
And, where was their mother you ask... why she was blogging of course!

Was there enough for you to enjoy a banana sandwich??

Remember the book that said to laugh when your children are making PB&J is the kitchen by themselves! You should have embraced that theory and not fought against it!

I know, I've got the most destructive busy little boy in the world. Evan drives me crazy every day going from one thing to the next.
I was complaining about him yesterday to my mom and telling her how he destroyed a family home evening lesson I had spent hours working on. And she said to me, "write his name on the back of what he destroyed"...I was like yeah that will show him when he gets older he'll feel so bad! But that's not what she meant.
She said that as kids we colored all over her different projects and she said she wished she wrote our names on what we destroyed because when we got older we looked at it like it was so cute and wanted to know who's cute scibbling it was.
Hopefully that will help me relax a little bit...next time smile at the mess and take a picture!!
