Destruction

I am in Oklahoma visiting my family.  We arrived 3 days after an F5 tornado struck their small town.  My parents took us on a "tour of destruction." Neighborhoods were wiped out.  Cars were mangled.  And 2 small children were killed.  The amount of damage was overwhelming.

This was not some old clunker truck, this was brand new, found .5 miles from the owners home.

This house was ripped off its foundation

I could see children's toys inside the home

I love this picture! It shows the American spirit of resiliency.  

This town came together to help clean up the damage and didn't ask for a hand out while doing it!
