It's Just a Store Right?

I have been anxiously awaiting the opening of the New Super Wal-mart. Living without its prices and one stop shopping has been a tough price to pay (pun-intended) for the last seven years.

So, on Saturday I ventured out with all five kids, its the only way to really break in a new store, to the highlight of the town, apparently everyone else in the county had the same thought. Upon arrival I felt a sense of my young adulthood living in the Arkansas again, Wal-Mart as far as the eye can see. This store was beautiful! The prices incredible! and the Ilses, WIDE! Yet, I felt something was wrong...
I felt as though I was betraying an alli I had befriended over six years ago.

Before moving to the northwest Costco was unheard of, In fact I didn't know what the big "To Do" was about the place. However, being FORCED to shop there because of no competition, I learned to LOVE the warehouse shopping style. The free samples alone make a trip with five worth taking. I recognize all the employees and they are so polite and helpful. Costco has been a friend to me on those rainy days.

As you can see, I have great store loyalty, do I choose the Wal-Mart of my youth or the Costco that is always a friend? Oh what dilemmas I face!

actually i have the same problem. walmart is so convienient and the prices are cheaper but here they have a City Market and they have free popcorn and ice cream cones and i have to admit i go there, buy one thing, just so i can get the treats! its such a betrayal. i actually feel guilt!

I liked Super Walmart for groceries until I found WinCo. It's not a one stop shop, but i love it! Not sure if you have heard of it, but the prices are amazingly cheap. And they have a great bulk section, too. There's one in Marysville, just east on exit 202.

I was checking back because I , too, would like to know where it's located! And don't feel bad because I bet you'll still shop at both places! Costco has stuff that you can't get at Walmart. Like huge pumpkin pies for only $6!YUM YUM!

Jennifer the answer is easy...go to WALMAT before they kick you out of Costco. I think there is a two child limit at Costco! You can shop at Walmart and have twenty kids, that's why all the polygs. go there!!!
