thanks for that. It really was a good read. Interesting. It's funny because yes, there's the really popular mormon blogs but, there's also the ones that aren't so popular(like mine...haha) where I DO keep record of things that we do (journal-keeping) but, I think I keep it pretty real. I mean I love my kids, I love my husband and my home but, there are days when things are overwhelming and I can't figure out where to start and what to do first to feel accomplished by the end of the day. I ALWAYS strive to be a good mom and wife, sister and friend but, sometimes I miss the mark. That's where the gospel comes in for me... repentance and knowing that if I rely on HIM, he'll make things better because HE has already sacrificed for me... (and even though I know that truth this very moment, I don't always know it "in the moment" ...haha ) anyways, thanks again for the read. Made me think about some things. Love and miss you! Patty
love it! mimi PS and yes, you are right, attending extra meetings mean you are extra blessed. I admire you and your faith and example to your kids. I always am sad when I have to miss those meetings due to other commitments because I know I need to be there to get filled. But I don't think you should feel guilty if you don't go because that is not how the Lord works.
