I can't believe it! Alley is twelve years old.
Every year the kids age it only gets better! I love having older kids. However Alley turning 12 was a hard hit on me, because it means that she will be making more of her own decisions, wanting to be with friends more and leaving our home in 6 short years!
But for now we will enjoy every second!
She got a whole lot of cute clothes, perfume, a bracelet and this cute umbrella! (see what I mean all grown up presents!)

It's actually a good thing that she's growing up and getting cool birthday presents now, because that just means that YOU get more cool stuff too!! (in a sort of/half way kind of way) :)

Awww, she's adorable.
I loved when my girls turned 12 and went to YW. The help from the leaders and good friends (hopefully) was a blessing. They listened to them much more than they listened to me. Plus it's fun to have grown-up conversations with them.

Alley is so gorgeous! I can't believe she is 12 either. It makes me sad to think by the time Tod and I move back she will be in college =( I made her and Elizabeth really cute cards yesterday, I will be sending their gifts soon! Love you guys!
WOW!! I can't believe Alley is 12 years old! That is wonderful! It is so much fun watching your children grow up and enjoy new things. Alley will LOVE young women!! Fun times ahead!!
